One analysis of 9 clinical studies showed there was a 30% improvement in cancer symptoms when used with chemotherapy; however, there was no increase in survival rate; the clinical studies may not robust enough (applicability of the results to non-Asian countries e.g. western countries) are unclear); more evidence is needed

Colorectal Adenoma is type of growth that often displays itself as polyps (mushroom like bumps) in the large intestines. While it is a type of benign tumour, which does not attack nearby organs or spread to other part of the body, it is often the precursor to colon cancer if allowed to grow unchecked.
